NEW YEAR EVE

Went to hospital this morning to have my lung check but I was too late!! The booking were full so I had to wait to see the doc and had X-Ray scanning in the afternoon. Becoz of the delay, I couldn't watch the film!! I really wanted to watch "Atonment" but I think I wouldn't have time to watch it soon. What a shame.

Shopped around in CWB and after the afternoon tea, we took our kickboxing lesson. Surprisingly many girls were in the class!! I thought most of them would prefer hanging out in the eve rather than doing kickboxing.

After lesson, we had Thai food in a small shop. The food was quite good!! We had some grilled meat, green curry, Tom Yum Goong, shrimp sashimi and Thai scrembled eggs. So delicious!!

CWB was too crowd and everyone just wanna wait for the count down at Time Square. We didn't want to be in the crowds so we went to PY's friend's home to celebrate for the New Year. We watched movies, played the card games and counted down for New Year. Goodbye 2007!! You ran too fast!

OYSTER ISLAND

I missed my kickboxing lesson today coz I didn't sleep at all last night and I slept at 9.30am this morning. I booked the lesson at 4.15pm and I was going to postpone to 5.30pm but they didn't have another class today. When PY called me it was already 3.45pm, I couldn't get there at 4.15pm so finally I slept until 6pm.

Then went to Happy Valley to have dinner at Oyster Island. The environment was good and comfy. It's a nice and quiet restaurant. Ordered few kinda oysters like Pearl Blanc, Fine de Claire, Tasmanian, Black Pearl and Grand Motard. My favourite is always Pearl Blanc :D The oysters were so fresh and sweet!! The after-taste lasted so long!! :) Also we had some white wine, garlic bread and Squid ink spaghetti with Seafood, so delicious!! We enjoyed this meal a lot!!

After dinner, went to LKF to have a drink and go clubbing later. I sweared I wouldn't go to Sugar again coz I didn't want to meet someone and also it wasn't fun there. This time I went to Number 9 and unluckly I meet them again!! Small world!! A sinister smile? Darn! We said Hi and then shaked hands :D I don't go clubbing often but how come I met them once and once again?!

KEY'S WEDDING + PARTY

Key's big day!! Congrats!! Attended Key's wedding banquet tonight. Met the TI old friends again :D Key's wedding photos are great!! (sorry Key I mean the scene :P) No wonder why so many people like taking their wedding photos in Taiwan.

Before the banquet started, we played card games "Big 2". Haven't played for a long time. It was fun! I got nice cards, see! ;)

After meal, we went to Kevin & Mandy's home to have party. Celebrate Sze's birthday and Christmas tho it was late :P

We played Pictionary until 6am!! Nearly 5 hours!! We are crazy!! :D But it was really fun!! PY and I weren't good partners, I couldn't understand what she drew and she thought what I drew was too complicated LOL Didn't have chance to partner with Ma and Helen, maybe next time!

CHARITY X'MAS DINNER

Went for a Charity X'mas Dinner at Yau Yat Chuen Garden City Club, the chosen charity is Sowers Action which helps to build schools in rural parts of mainland china and also helps to pay for the school fees of poor children. I joined the dinner not for the charity but just for fun. I don't care much about the charity but seems giving to charity at Christmas time is kinda good thing to do.

The food was quite good and the party was conducted in a cordial atmosphere. They had auction and it was the most interesting part. Someone contributed the ipod nano, golf balls, chocolates, watches for us to bid. Can't believe they had lingeries and they asked us to bid one lady and one man for a date! haha :D It was all for charity but really funny!

BOXING DAY

Feeling a bit sick today coz I have eaten too much deep fried food and didn't get much sleep these days. My throat is sore but I'm not going to see the doctor. I don't like taking medicine!

Aunt Kathy and Uncle Ken came back to Hong Kong for vacation again and they came to our home for dinner. It's good to see them again! My cousin and his girlfriend will also come back to Hong Kong on 30th, soon we will have another family gathering!! Aunt Kathy showed us the pics of their grandson, he looks sooooo CUTE!! A Chinese + Jewish mixed baby looks like Western more than Chinese. I was a bit surprised that he has Chinese name :P Aunt Kathy and Uncle Ken asked us to go to Canada and I really want to go to there again!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS NIGHT

Dinner at a cafe, had some pasta and the relaxed a bit there. The pasta was only ok but It was good that we could sit there at long as we want. Don't like to rush to finish the dinner in a crowded restaurant so cafe is a good choice :) It was my second time to go to that cafe but the waiter remembered me! It was funny that he thought I was a lingustic student. Am I really look so young? I'm far too old to be a student :D

After dinner we went to LKF to have some drinks. Surprisingly there were not so crowded! I think maybe becoz everyone goes there on Christmas eve. We drank at different bars until 4am and then went home. I love drinks and live music!! :)

CHRISTMAS EVE

Christmas eve Celebration!! We had dinner at Outback! We ordered a lot of food!! Steak, Ribs, Bloomin' Onion, Aussie Cheese Fries, Salad... The food was so great and it was not expensive at all in X'mas eve!! :)


We each person bought a Christmas present and exchanged the present randomly. I got a funny eyemask :D Big black eyebrows and eyes!! Though I don't use eyemask, I think I would like to use it when I take a flight :D Wouldn't I scare anyone?

After dinner we went shopping at Sogo. I bought a ring and a pendant! I wanted to buy one more necklace but it's a bit expensive. I'm still considering to buy it or not. Hehe I have to treat myself better, right? :P

Then we went to Inn side out to have a drink. I drank a big glass of Hoegaarden and few glass of redwine. The minium charge is $150 per person, we couldn't drink that much so we had to order some food!! We were so full that we couldn't finish all!! :P Chit chatted at the bar and then we counted down for Christmas. It was fun :)

CHRISTMAS LIGHT

Went to TST with PY in the evening coz we wanted to take some pics of Christmas night. This time I bought my tripod with me coz I don't wanna take any blurry pics. The weather wasn't good and it was quiet floggy so it was hard to take clear good pics.

I didn't take many pics coz I wasn't in mood. I took around 80 pics but none of them are good. Shit! I haven't figured out how to use my Canon 400D and I have no idea how to take night shoot with my camera. Kinda frustrated to see those crap pics :( Bad angle, blurry, not sharp enough and bad colour tone. How come? I think I really should buy some camera books or go outside more to test my camera.

HOT POT + DRINKS

Dinner with friends at Po Kei hot pot restaurant in TST. We were planning to have Japanese cuisine but a Japanese friend wanted to try Chinese food so I suggested Hot pot. The food was quite good but expensive. The staffs there were nice too and they taught our Korean friend to speak Chinese :D It's funny that they asked us to drink beer with a bowl!! Old way to drink with bowl and it's my first time to try!


After dinner we had some drinks in a bar in Knutsford. We had 1st round drink and then for the 2nd round our Korean friend suggested to order a 2.5Liter beer tower and share together!! Oh it reminded me how much I drank in Munich!! :D This time we had 4 people to share so I wouldn't get drunk :D I don't really like Carlsberg and I prefer wine or cocktail more tho. It's fun to drink that much again!!

TIMING

Why Today? Why not Yesterday or Tomorrow? I just missed it!! The timing isn't right... When will be next time? Maybe it isn't meant for me... I knew it!! Many things have changed in this half year tho... Alright, I don't care, do I?

EARLY X'MAS PARTY

An early Christmas Party at work!! Japanese people don't care much about Christmas, last year we didn't have Christmas Party but this year we have more staffs now and I think it's better to organise a party and have fun.

The budget was so tight, our stingy boss won't pay for us so we have to pay everything by ourselves. Had some nice food and lucky draw. It spent me much time to organise this party but I'm glad to see them having fun tho it was just a simple party during lunch time. But someone expected too much and seems he didn't appreciate the prize that he won. It's not easy to satisfy everyone, right?

WONG TZE WAH'S SHOW

Watched Wong Tze Wah stand up comedy, it was so funny and entertaining!! The way he dug at someone and some matters makes me laugh! He is definately one of the best comedian in Hong Kong!! Looking forward to see his show again!!

PETER AND THE WOLF

A friend recommended some songs which are very suitable to listen alone at home at night or on a lazy Sunny day. I'm not a folk song fan but Peter and The Wolf's songs are really good. It makes me feel relaxed. I like "The Apple Tree", "Slient Movies", "Scarlet and Grey"... Sometimes it's good to listen different kinda songs but not only the main stream music. It makes your day a little bit difference ;)

BBQ AT STANLEY BEACH

Barbecued at Stanely Beach with colleagues today. It was a sunny day but windy and cold coz the barbecue place is just next to the sea! We bought a lot of food and surprisinly we could almost finish all!! :D

DRINK DRANK FUN?

Relocating my seat again!! New manager will come to work from 3rd January so we have to relocate again. I hate moving stuff coz I got lots of things! But I'm glad that I'm close to the printer!! No need to walk so fast to get my print-out :D

New manager is a Japanese but she has moved to Hong Kong since she was 3 years old so she can speak fluent Cantonese and English besides Japanese. Heard that she can also speak French!! Wow!! Amazing!! She was an architectural designer before and got no experience in trading and comestic field. Interesting to see a non-experienced to be a Gerneral manager. Anyway boss likes her and thinks she is able to handle this job, so nothing should be worried, right?

A friend has come back to Hong Kong so we chilled out with other friends at CWB and Central after work. Had dinner at CWB and then we had some drinks at LKF. Drank few beers and wine until 3.30am and then went home. It was funny that one of my friend didn't dare to chat girls up even tho we tried to help him. I'm so sorry for him since he usually complains he can't find a girlfriend. Maybe he wasn't drunk even to pluge up his courage :D Don't be so shy!! :D

Black or white? Yes or No? I'm sure there is something in between, right? I'm not that straightforward!! Or I'm too chicken to choose a certain answer!

I'M FEELING LUCKY!!

Got a French test on Monday and I did it so bad! I didn't study at all, I thought I wouldn't get pass and promote to the next level. Kinda reluctant to go back to Alliance Française today coz I didn't want to get the result. But thanks god!! Luckily I got pass!! :) Marginal pass!! I really have to study hard during x'mas holiday!! Can't be like that again in next level!!

GOODBYE MY FRIEND

Woke up at 3pm coz I hung out until 5am. Had an afternoon tea at Mong Kok then hung out a bit in MK, TST, Wanchai and CWB. We wanted to go to Sai Kung or Stanley, just wanna go to country side but it was too late to go there. Finally we rested down at a cafe at CWB in the midnight.

The waiter in the cafe was so talkative, he kept talking to us and told us about his family and job. It's kinda stupid that his boss has a work cam in the cafe to spy on him and other staffs!! His salary is low too! What a mean boss!! I'm so sorry for him.

We had some snacks and desserts at the cafe and relaxed there until 3am. It's a funny question that we couldn't figure out, Why can't we drink the tap water? I'm sure if you ask anyone on the street, they will still say that you can't drink but dunno the reason!! Good question :D LOL

Have time always runs fast, I don't like to say goodbye and it's kinda sad whenever I see my friend leaving. We will meet again, right?

DRINK & DANCE

Worked until 8pm, it tired me out!! Had dinner with a friend at TST Red Ant Restaurant. We had some Baked Lasagna and Rice and some snacks, we enjoyed the food a lot!! We chitchatted until 11pm and then left the restaurant. I wanted to take ferry to Central but when we walked to the pier, it was closed. So we took MTR instead.

Chilling out at LKF, had some drinks at Insomnia, it was so crowded!! Then we went to Sugar at around 2am, surprisingly there were not many people!! I could even count how many people at the dancing floor!! We danced and had some fun but I was a bit tipsy. We chilled out until Sugar was closed :p It was good to have fun and relax after work!!

BUSY WORK / RELAXING NITE

Soooo darn busy at work!! Work 11-12 hours a day!! It's like I can never finish all my work!! And I dunno what's the problem, seems I have bad memory recently. Maybe I have too many duties so I can't remember all the stuff! Or maybe becoz I'm getting old? Today I missed my French lesson coz I gotta rush to finish the reports. Sigh... Next week I will have French test!! Hopefully I can manage to study in the weekend.

After work, dinner with a friend in TST. I shouldn't have asked him to meet me there, He got lost :P We had dinner at a Chinese restaurant, the food was good. We were so full!! Glad that he liked the Shanghai Dumplings :D Then we hung around at Kowloon Park and then had a drink at Ned Kelly's. We both enjoyed the Jazz music and it was a very relaxing night since I have been stressed and upset recently. I feel a lot better :)

David asked me if I was learning something except French and piano, I told him I was learning a kinda sport and asked him to guess. 1) Squash 2) Gym 3) Swimming 4) Kickboxing. Surprising he guessed it right!! How come? Is it so obvious? Am I really looked so violent? LOL :D

WHY SO CONFUSED?

Why so confused? It's my fault, isn't it? I don't know what I can do and I'm afraid I can't fix this. It seems like something is stuck and no matter I step forward or step back, there is still no way out. I'm not as tough as you imagine but I don't want to be a crying baby either. It upset me tho I can understand it. We all have hard time, all we need is time to get over the problem!!

I LOVE LIVERPOOL!!

Got a Liverpool towel from a friend!! Thank you :) I like it so much!! I'm always Liverpool fan :D I know I can't turn a West Ham fan to Liverpool fan but at least we are not aganist each other :D Don't tell me you wear your West Ham T-shirt to buy this towel ;) I don't want to see you being booed in Anfield :D

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Haven't watched film in the cinema for a while. Wanna have a laugh and relax myself so went to watch Ben Stiller's new comedy. I had high expectation coz Ben's films are usually funny. But this one disappoined me!! Sometimes funny but the jokes were stupid and the storyline was weak and not so intersting. Anyway I had some laugh at least.

Having dinner with Hang, Fiona, Alice and PY at Spaghetti house, they celebrated me and Hang's birthday coz we both were born at the end of November. The reason I chose Spaghetti is I wanted to have Fondue!! Finally I tried it :D It was so delicious!! I liked it!! We ordered a lot of food that we couldn't finish all!! We were soooo full!!

The birthday cake was so cute and yummy!! Tho we were full, we still had to make a wish and then had birthday cake!!

Gotta a Agnes b pouch from Hang and Fiona! Thank you buddies! :) I had such great and fun time!! Yay :D

KEVIN & MANDY'S WEDDING

Congrats Kevin & Mandy!! It's their big day!! I was one of the bridesmaids and it was really fun!! I am so happy for them and wish them have a happy new life :)

We all the bridesmaids went to Mandy's home in the early morning. We had to prepare something for the groom and his men. We had a lot of games to test the groom's love!! :D Otherwise we were not going to open the door!!

1) Ask Kevin some questions about Mandy but he cannot answer by himself. He has to keep slience but he can do gesture to cue the best men. If the best men can't answer, they have to eat our special breakfast!! (spread the bread with mixed sauces: wasabi, spicy sauce, condensed milk, peanut better, shrimp paste, fermented beancurd... Yuck!!)

2) Put lotus seed, Lily seed, Mahjong into a basin with ice, water and detergent, then ask one of the best men to pick the lotus seed, lily seed and mahjong with his toes (I believe the freezing water can refresh their mind :P)

3) 8 best men + 1 groom divide into 3 groups and then ask 99 people to sign a name for congratulating their wedding (Kinda silly but it's fun! I followed them downstairs to make sure they don't cheat!!)

4) Wearing woman's bras, underwears (of course brand new) and big wigs and then run upstairs from 18/F to 26/F, then say, "My sweet wife, I'm coming to pick you up now!" (ooops... they are embarrassed, aren't they?)


5) One best man lay down, hold a biscute with his mouth and then the groom doing push up on top and eat the biscuits while doing push up (Don't kiss!! :D)

After playing those games, I feel so lucky that I'm a woman!! Of course they all passed the test and finished the mission!! We all bridesmaids had a lot of fun!! :D LOL I couldn't stop laughing!!

Kevin and Mandy did some traditional stuff at home, poured the tea to their parents and the elders. After that we went to their new home and had pizza for lunch.

Then we all went to Hong Kong park to take some pics. The weather was so fine and we took a lot of beautiful pics! Mandy looked so pretty, I like her wedding dress and headdress! I only bought my compact camera coz my bag was so heavy!! It would be better if I had my LC-A.


Their wedding banquet was held at a Chinese restaurant at CWB, it was an impressive and a lovely wedding. Many old friends attended the wedding!! It was great to see them! Key gave us his wedding invitation card, we are going to his wedding next month!! So many people get married in this year!!

FAREWELL TO MANAGER

Today is manager's last day, kinda sad coz I have been working with her for nearly 2 years. She isn't an organised manager but she is a a nice person. I learned quite a lot from her. We don't have new manager right now so from now on, I have to decide and work on things by myself. It's a challenge for me. Hoepfully I will have a promotion soon :D

Afternoon, I slacked for a while and went to Festival Walk with Kiyoe to buy a gift for manager. We walked around and then went into Folli Follie. We chose a bracelet for her, but then Kiyoe and I thought the design of the bracelets were nice and we both bought a bracelet for ourselves :P It's expensive but I like it very much :D Better control myself a bit coz recently I spent a lot of money already...



Manager treated us afternoon tea and we gave her the gift and flowers, I totally did nothing for my work!! Only morning half day work :D

Then after work we went to Island Shangrila hotel and treated manager a dinner buffet at Cafe Too. The food was good but I think they should have more choices. The sashimi was fresh and I like the dessert most!! The cakes were delicious!! But the oysters were too small and not fresh enough. Can't compare with what I ate at Oysterman last night. But overall the food was quite good. We all had good time :)

GREAT BIRTHDAY DINNER

Having my birthday Dinner at Culture Club Gallery. It's a small restaurant + Gallery in Central. This restaurant mainly serves Italain food but they don't have many choices. They have 3 sets in menu so we 3 people just chose those 3 sets and shared the food.

We ordered a white wine first, drank a bit and relaxed. Then we had duck chest salad, black truffle parma ham sandwich with scrambled eggs and mushroom spaghetti. The food was great!!

Then we had German Cheese Cake, Blue Berry Cheese Cake and Ice-cream for dessert. I like the Blue Berry Cheese Cake most. The others were okay.

The restaurant is quite special, they are also a gallery and they also have some cultural activities inside. When we were having dinner, there was Belly Dance class and some women danced and had fun together.

After dinner, we suddenly wanted to eat oysters so we just walked to Oysterman and ordered some Oysters :D We had Irish, Pearl Blanc, Fine de Clair and Tasmania. The oysters were so frensh and delicious!! It was a great night and I had very good time and nice dinner!!

ENGLAND LOST!!!

England failed to qualify for Euro 2008!!! I can't believe!! :( McClaren sucks!! He's CRAP!! What a shame that there are too many injured players and Owen can't help to win over the game :( There is no meaning to watch Euro Champion without England. Sigh...

MY BIRTHDAY xxx I LOVE AGNÈS B!

Happy Birthday to myself :D Growing older again!! Time runs so fast! But I believe I am still young :D

When I was small, I used to think birthday is a big day but now I feel like it's nothing special. Just don't like to count how old I am :P It's just a normal day for me, still have to work and take French lesson. Afterwards having dinner at a Japanese Restaurant and then walked around. Then we went to Ned Kelly's to have a drink and enjoyed some live Jazz music. I haven't been to Ned Kelly's for a while and it's kinda relaxing whenever I go there.

Got a Agnès B ring and necklace for birthday :) So GREAT!! Thank you so much :) I love them a lot!! I'm soooo HAPPY :)

INT'L MUAY THAI I-1 SUPER FIGHTS

Watching the International Muay Thai I-1 Super Fights tonight. It is the 1st time that I watched Thai boxing in live. I'm not so into watching Thai boxing, I think it's more fun to play than watching.

One of my trainer represented our boxing club to fight and he won. I don't know any rules of kickboxing so I had no idea how my trainer K.O. the other player :P It's so different for fighting the game and doing for keeping fit!! His punches and kicks are so fast and strong!! Not like how he played with us during the lesson!! I think I would definately die if he punched me hardly!! :D

SHOPPING & CLUBBLING

Went shopping again today. Wanna buy something for myself and do early X'mas shopping. We finished our mission and bought what we needed in half day!! :D Then I bought someone for myself again :P I bought a nice scarf, a hair clip and a ring. I wanted to buy a mobile but it was out of stock!! How come? It makes me want it even more!! Can't wait for it!!

Then we had dinner at a new opened Japanese resturant in TST. They have 20% off promotion! The food was great! I like the sashimi cold udon most!! Would like to go there again soon!!

After dinner, we walked around and then had a drink at Knutsford. Chit chatted until 11.30pm, my friend went home and I went to LKF to meet my cousin and his friend. My cousin asked me to go clubbing many times but I was too busy. This time I can't turn him down again :P We waited for K and her friend but they were late!! We just stood there and waited for them for 45mins!! Hei complained that he hated to wait even if she was a hot pretty girl but K isn't hot LOL So mean :D He said he would never ask K out again LOL

We went to SUGAR, had drink and dance together. Hei usually brags how he attracts girls in the club but I couldn't see this!! Obviously he and his friend didn't fit in it LOL They didn't dance or drink much!! :D Seems they didn't feel comfortable in the club.

At around 2am, we were dancing and suddenly the music was stopped and the light was turned on coz the police came to check the club to see if there were underage teens or druggies. It ruined our mood but it was good to see people's faces clearly :D What surprised me is I saw 2 familiar faces!! My friends were also in the club!! Darn!! I didn't want to meet them there!! I knew they often hang out in LKF but I didn't know they went to SUGAR much. Kinda sucks to imagine how they chat girls up and dance with the girls LOL

Hei and his friend left at around 3am and then me, K and her friend went to another club to join another friend. We went to VOLAR to dance for a while and then went home. K likes SUGAR more but I like VOLAR more coz I like to see the pretty things :D

CASUAL DINNER

My schedule is kinda tight and finally I managed to have dinner with my old friend. Wanna meet her since I came back from Germany but I have been too busy. We had a casual dinner at MK and we chatted and updated each other's news. She complained that her life is too routine and boring but I complained that my life is too busy :P Life is hard LOL

Walked around after dinner, I didn't plan to buy anything but then we walked into a shoes shop. It was on sale, then I bought a pair of high heels :P Actually I wanted to buy boots for winter but dunno why finally I bought something that I didn't mean to buy :P

SHOPPING

Kinda stress recently and I wanna do something to decompress myself. So I went for shopping after French lesson. Feel like haven't gone for shopping for a long time so I bought 2 jackts and 1 shirt for myself. PY bought more than me coz she had to buy some clothes for Kevin's and Mandy's wedding. What a shame she didn't buy a dress!! Everybody is expecting to see her "girlish look" than her "boyish look" :D It always feel good to buy something nice for myself. Hopefully it will be a bit colder soon so I can wear my new jackets :D

BBQ @ LAMMA

Barbecued with friends at Lamma Island today. I sometimes go to Lamma but this is the first time that I barbecued there. The BBQ place is just next to the sea and the view is excellent!! It's worth to walk far away to there.

The weather was so fine for barbecue. It was a bit cold when the sun set but not too cold! I like it!!


Chris gave me some souvenirs from India, a pair of Indian style earrings and gift tags :D Merci beaucoup :) Je les aime beaucoup!
