LUMIX FX580

New Toy!!! I got a Panasonic Lumix FX580 digital camera! :) I have been thinking to buy a new DC coz my Canon is 2 years old and it sometimes doesn't work so well. Also my sis often takes my camera and doesn't return it back to me when I need it!! Good excuses, aren't they? :D

Since these years Canon put more resources on developing the DSLR than compact DC so this time I wanted to try other brand. I heard that Panasonic was quite good and they use Leica lens so suppose the photo quality should be good.

This is a touch-screen model and I'm so into touch-screen technology!! My mobile, iPod Touch and camera are all touch-screen!! It has quite a lot of features like 25mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC lens with a 5x optical zoom and I can control shutter speed and aperture manually. The Intelligent Scene Selection seems cool!! For sure I will bring it everyday everywhere!!

MERINO

Someone bought me a Merino after the adventure in NZ. It reminds me that I got a sheep cuddle toy from my aunt when I was around 8 or 9 years old. Once my mom washed it for me and sun dried it outside the balcony but it fell down to the ground accidentally (I was living in 13/F). Flying Sheep!! :D Of course finally my mom got it back for me and washed it again :D

I liked this sheep a lot but I can't remember how it was out of my life. Maybe it "flew away" again? LOL Anyway thanks and I like this Merino a lot!! I don't know where to put it tho LOL My bed is full of cuddle toys already!!

DIANA 35MM BACK + FISHEYE

Dinner with Gi today and she helped me to buy a Diana 35mm back and Fisheye lens! :D Yay new toy!! I'm so happy and I can't wait to try them!!

this 35mm back, I can use 35mm film and take pics with 4 different style. Panoramic with sprocket holes, Standard Panoramic, Standand Landscape and Square with sprocket holes. I gotta try more on my Diana F camera!! :)

IN LOVE WITH MY IPOD TOUCH AGAIN

My iPod Touch got Jailbroken to 2.2 finally!! I bought it a year ago but I only use it to listen music, write notes, watch video sometimes and access to internet. Obviously I didn't fully utilize its functions!!

I realised that it would be a waste to just listen music with it, finally I decided to jailbreak it. Thanks for my colleague's help, I can use a lot of functions now!! Such as reading e-books, text and PDF files. Also I downloaded many games and useful software. Now it's more like a PDA for me. Wonderful!! I've never been so in love with my iPod Touch like this moment!! :)

ME & HANG'S BELATED B-DAY CELEBRATION

Me and Hang's b-day is close so we celebrated our birthday together tonight. Me, AC and PY went to MK to shop around and bought a A&F jacket for Hang. We bought some A&F clothes for ourself as well!!

Then we went to Central, met Hang and FC and then we took the taxi to the Peak. FC booked the Peak Lookout and we had dinner there. The enviroment and atmosphere there was good and they placed the dishes very fast!! We had oyster, chicken ceasar salad, steak, seafood risotto, Salmon penne rigate pasta, ribs, cripse apple tarte, chocolate souffle.



And I got a Diana F+ Chromiacs Limited Edition camera!! :) Thanks Buddies!! I like this camera very much!! And I have a new toy to play around!! Yay!!

After dinner, we walked around and took some night view pics from the Peak. The sky was clear and night view was impressive!!

Then we went to LKF to have a drink. FC suggested to go to Balalaika so we went there. It's Russian bar and restaurant so I drank Vodka :D There is a ice room and they provide furs for you to wear and getting in. It was so cold inside!! But it was fun!! :D

We drank until 2am and then we left. Then we met Ruck, Fanta, Dee Dee and Christine in another bar in LKF!! What a surprise!! Christine asked me and AC to drink together so we both stayed and FC, PY and Hang left first. It was very funny to see them dance. Me and AC couldn't stop laughing!! We drank until 3.30am and then we went home.

EF 50MM F/1.4 USM

Went shopping in the afternoon, bought some clothes and then met Schindler at MK at night. I wanted to buy a lens so I asked him to help me to choose. This is a fixed focus lens which is mainly used for capturing images of humans. I'm not so keen on taking pics of portrait but it would be fun to have this kinda lens.

Then we watched the football game Liverpool vs Man United. I haven't watched football games for a long time. Schindler and his friends are Arsenal fans, only me supporting Liverpool. Fernando was on the bench and Steven only played on the 2nd half but luckily Liverpool won the game!! Yay!!

NEW LENS

I bought a new lens finally!! This wide angle lens is suitable for me to take landscape pics and I can't wait for trying it!! Tho it's bit expensive for me, it is worth! I wanna buy another lens for taking portrait and Schindler suggested me to buy a cheaper one (I wanna buy the one he got but his lens is for professional use I think, too expenisve!). Gotta save up some money... mom said I kept wasting money on buying this kinda stuff :P Well I can't help :D

THAI BOXERS

This is the Thai Boxers that I bought in Bangkok!! Orginally it was 1500 bahts but we asked for discount so it was 900 bahts! I liked this boxers since I first saw it!! I thought it was cheap already but when I had my kickboxing lesson tonight, Ruck kept making fun on me!!

He kept looking at my boxers and said something in Thai. Then kept saying it was beautiful but it didn't worth for 900 bahts! Darn!! He said he could get for only 500 bahts!! Ruck made fun on me and told almost all the Thai trainers about this. They came to take a look on my boxers and shake their heads!! Oh I really wanna slap Ruck and kick his ass!! :D Well at least it's cheaper than buying in Hong Kong, right?

PLAYING CARDS TRICKS

I'm quite into magic and I want to learn the tricks. A friend gave me a deck of magic playing cards and it made me want to learn how to play card tricks!! Good sleight of hands is important and I gotta practise!! It would be so fun and cool to be an amateur magician :D

LC-A+ x WIDE-ANGLE LENS

Gotta a new LC-A+ and Wide-Angle Lens!! Yay!! Thank you very much for Gi to help me getting the camera and lens with special price!! :) LC-A+ looks the same with the old one but it has more features like multiple and long-exposure features. With the 20mm super-wide view lens, I'm sure it will be a lot of fun with them!!

It's always excited to get new stuff and I can't wait to try my first roll of film!! :D

IPOD TOUCH!!

Yay I got a 32G iPod Touch finally!! I'm so excited!! It's my new toy!! :D Its function is excellent!! Expensive tho it worths :D Seems I really hard to resist the new gadgets :D

Then we went to have dinenr at Nuocmam French Vietnamese Cuisine. We ordered my favourite garlic bread, smoked salmon salad with mango and beef noodles. The salad was great!! But the noodles didn't taste very nice. The noodles weren't soft enough. Someone asked me to pay the bill only becoz I got pay raise!! Why? It's not fair!! :D Anyway Seki owed me a nice meal at The Peninsula!! :P

LG KU990

My Sony Ericsson mobile suddenly didn't work quite well yesterday, it's time for me to buy a new mobile :P I wanted to buy Sony Ericsson but I just couldn't find one that I like. Then I saw this LG KU990 at Broadway and the sales explained the fuctions of this mobile to me, it seems good!! What a cool gadget!! The selling points are the touch screen and the 5.0 mega pixels with Schneider lens. I have never used LG phone but I love this stylish one!! It's my new toy now :D

I LOVE LIVERPOOL!!

Got a Liverpool towel from a friend!! Thank you :) I like it so much!! I'm always Liverpool fan :D I know I can't turn a West Ham fan to Liverpool fan but at least we are not aganist each other :D Don't tell me you wear your West Ham T-shirt to buy this towel ;) I don't want to see you being booed in Anfield :D

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Haven't watched film in the cinema for a while. Wanna have a laugh and relax myself so went to watch Ben Stiller's new comedy. I had high expectation coz Ben's films are usually funny. But this one disappoined me!! Sometimes funny but the jokes were stupid and the storyline was weak and not so intersting. Anyway I had some laugh at least.

Having dinner with Hang, Fiona, Alice and PY at Spaghetti house, they celebrated me and Hang's birthday coz we both were born at the end of November. The reason I chose Spaghetti is I wanted to have Fondue!! Finally I tried it :D It was so delicious!! I liked it!! We ordered a lot of food that we couldn't finish all!! We were soooo full!!

The birthday cake was so cute and yummy!! Tho we were full, we still had to make a wish and then had birthday cake!!

Gotta a Agnes b pouch from Hang and Fiona! Thank you buddies! :) I had such great and fun time!! Yay :D

FAREWELL TO MANAGER

Today is manager's last day, kinda sad coz I have been working with her for nearly 2 years. She isn't an organised manager but she is a a nice person. I learned quite a lot from her. We don't have new manager right now so from now on, I have to decide and work on things by myself. It's a challenge for me. Hoepfully I will have a promotion soon :D

Afternoon, I slacked for a while and went to Festival Walk with Kiyoe to buy a gift for manager. We walked around and then went into Folli Follie. We chose a bracelet for her, but then Kiyoe and I thought the design of the bracelets were nice and we both bought a bracelet for ourselves :P It's expensive but I like it very much :D Better control myself a bit coz recently I spent a lot of money already...



Manager treated us afternoon tea and we gave her the gift and flowers, I totally did nothing for my work!! Only morning half day work :D

Then after work we went to Island Shangrila hotel and treated manager a dinner buffet at Cafe Too. The food was good but I think they should have more choices. The sashimi was fresh and I like the dessert most!! The cakes were delicious!! But the oysters were too small and not fresh enough. Can't compare with what I ate at Oysterman last night. But overall the food was quite good. We all had good time :)

MY BIRTHDAY xxx I LOVE AGNÈS B!

Happy Birthday to myself :D Growing older again!! Time runs so fast! But I believe I am still young :D

When I was small, I used to think birthday is a big day but now I feel like it's nothing special. Just don't like to count how old I am :P It's just a normal day for me, still have to work and take French lesson. Afterwards having dinner at a Japanese Restaurant and then walked around. Then we went to Ned Kelly's to have a drink and enjoyed some live Jazz music. I haven't been to Ned Kelly's for a while and it's kinda relaxing whenever I go there.

Got a Agnès B ring and necklace for birthday :) So GREAT!! Thank you so much :) I love them a lot!! I'm soooo HAPPY :)

ENGLAND VS ISRAEL

England win over Israel 3-0!! Owen's superb goal is impressive!! He is England's Hero!! :D It feels so good to see him scoring and lead England to win. I usually think Heskey is his best partner!! I'm glad that SHREK and ROBOT were not on the pitch LOL Yay!!

CANON 400D

Yay here we go!! My *New Toy* Canon 400D!! I got it finally!! I have been waiting for few weeks!! :D And today I spent a lot!! I bought a camera bag, a 4G CF card and a 400D guide book, they are necessaries so I have to buy them... I'm so poor now!! But it's a thrilling day!! Can't wait to test my camera!! It feels so great to own a DSLR!! :D

NEW WATCH

Shopped around at MongKok and dinner at Pizza Hut with friends today. Didn't have mood becoz of the rain. I really don't like going out during rainy days. It's annoying! I just wanna do window shopping and I didn't intend to buy anything but then when we went into an accessories shop, a watch caught my attention! I bought it without much consideration :P Those evil friends just made me to buy it!! LOL Actually I really love watches and I'm quite into classic simple watches recently. Can't afford to buy my dream watch and I think it's not too extravagant to buy a cheap one, is it? :D

YAY FOR LIVERPOOL FC

LIVERPOOL FC came to Hong Kong again!! Yay!! But I didn't know until I saw them on TV!! And it's too late for me to get the ticket! Oh I'm kinda slow in football news now!! Too bad!! Really need to catch up on football news and games. Fuham and Portsmouth are also in Hong Kong and they are going to play games with South China. Definately Liverpool will win!

Remember 4 years ago when LIVERPOOL FC came to Hong Kong, I could have chance to watch the game and Michael Owen was here!! I really don't like him playing in Newscatle now tho he said he was happy to play in Newcastle. Is it true? I know there is no chance for him to go back to Anfield...

But it's good that LIVERPOOL is expanding!! They signed the Spanish petty boy Fernando Torres and Dutch kid Ryan Babel. Hopefully LIVERPOOL will win the English Permiership! :D
