TORTELLINI

I usually want to cook something but I'm just too busy and lazy :D Last year when I went to Germany, I bought a pack of tortellini but I just put it into the cabinet and I almost forgot it. Few days ago I realised that the expiry date is until 31st Jan 2008! So I have to eat it as soon as I can!!

It's my first time to cook tortellini :P Not too difficult, it's even easier than cooking Chinese dumping!

Put the tortellini into the boiling water and then boil them for 8-10 mins.

Cooking with condensed tomato sauce for few mins and it's finish!! You may eat now! :D

It tastes quite good but I do prefer the one I eat in Italian restaurant :P But it's simple to make without any techniques! A quick dinner :)

CULTURAL POT LUCK NITE

Wanna figure out the fuctions on my new mobile today but my cousin asked me out for afternoon tea. We went to Whampoa to have afternoon tea and chitchatted for a while. He is still feeling upset and he needed someone to talk to. I've given all my advices and hopefully he can understand and get over it soon.

Then I met Satoko at Lai Chai Kok and we were joining an event "cutrual Pot Luck Night" with group of people. Most of the people have prepared some dishes and I feel a bit bad for doing nothing. I wanted to make something simple but my kitchen was too messy after fixing the waterpipes.

It was a huge success that so many people joined this event and there were different kind of food!! I liked the curry and the Sangria!! The Sangria was very fruity which I liked it a lot!! :D I was too full to taste all kinda food coz I had afternoon tea :P Next time I shouldn't eat aynthing before the event!!

LG KU990

My Sony Ericsson mobile suddenly didn't work quite well yesterday, it's time for me to buy a new mobile :P I wanted to buy Sony Ericsson but I just couldn't find one that I like. Then I saw this LG KU990 at Broadway and the sales explained the fuctions of this mobile to me, it seems good!! What a cool gadget!! The selling points are the touch screen and the 5.0 mega pixels with Schneider lens. I have never used LG phone but I love this stylish one!! It's my new toy now :D

OLD MEMORIES

The waterpipes in my flat are going to change and also Chinese New Year is coming soon so I have to clean up my flat and throw away something which is useless. I got a lot of magazines which are published in 1995 and 1996 :P Also some "Yes Cards" (Shit! How come I've been keeping them for so many years?), history books in secondary school, christmas cards from the classmates in primary school and secondary school...

I found some old diaries too!! I read them again and it brings me back my old memories. I suddenly feel like I was so silly to write childish stuff when I was in school. I can't even remember some people whom I mentioned in my diaries LOL Oh maybe few years later when I read my blog again, I would feel the same LOL I'm going to cut my diaries and throw them away. Few years ago I might think it was a pity to throw my memories away but now I've grown up. I have my memories in my brain and that's enough!

LOADSA WORK!!

Gotta work at home on Sunday... I hate it!! My insane boss thinks we are too much time at work? How come he took over another company but then laid off those staffs? He expected we can handle 2 companies? What da hell!

My job and study occupy most of my time that I can't do what I want. I can't concentrate on many things at once and I admit I usually neglect something important. Chinese New Year is coming soon and I gotta find a day or two to clean up my stuff... Hate to do but I have to! When can I have free time? Need a vacation again!!

SAI KUNG + MI CASA

Had a walk with a friend at Sai Kung in the afternoon. We didn't have time to go hiking so just took a stroll at the Sai Kung city centre. It was a cloudy day which is good for strolling (no need to worry getting tanned :D) but I prefer a little bit sun :P

Then we had dessert at Honeymoon dessert. I knew my friend wouldn't like durian!! :D Haha He said it tasted strange LOL Oh well, a good try! At least he didn't hate it :D I really think durian pudding tastes so good!! I like it!! :)

Afterward, we went back to Mongkok and then shopped around. Someone wants to buy a laptop but she only uses MSN and office and she wants to buy Fujitsu! Fujitsu is good but too expensive and a waste for a BASIC USER. I gave her advice already and she still insists to buy Fujitsu, what a rich girl! :D

Then we went to CWB to have dinner at Mi Casa Chilean Oyster Bar. It is a very small cozy restaurant and the food was excellent. We had some French oysters, tomato mozzarella salad, duck livers (not ghoose!), escargots with butter and garlic, grilled fish (forgot what kinda fish) and crème brûlée. I enjoyed this meal a lot!! So delicious!! :)

BBQ BUT...

Barbecued at Kevin's home today. I was still coughing so it's better not to eat the grilled food. I didn't want to go but they have arranged this barbecue since December, also I had to give them something so I had to go. I didn't eat many things, only bread, mushrooms and peppers =_= What a shame that I couldn't eat!!

LIFE IS UNPREDICTABLE

Haven't seen a friend for a month and more so we came out to have dinner together. He has just broken up with her girlfriend and I really can't believe!! He is here becoz of his girlfriend, it's not easy to make those efforts to be together. But finally they ended this relationship. I really don't understand!! At least he doesn't look upset and I think he gets over already. Life is really unpredictable!!

HOSTILE TAKEOVER?

My boss announced that he has just taken over another company!! What a surprise!!! He is like buying something without condersation. It's not a clothes!! It's a company!! I don't care how many company he is going / he has bought if this company run its business seperately. But obviously we are merging with this company and boss fired those staffs!! OMG! That means we will have more workloads!!! :( How can it be like that?

BRONCHITIS

I usually wait to see the doctor until I got really sick coz I don't like to take medicine. Once again I got serious cough and I went to St. Teresa's hospital after French lesson. I didn't have time before so I went there at 10pm. There were so many people and the nurse told me I had to wait for at least an hour!! What the hack is that? How come so many people go to see the doc in the late night?

I didn't want to wait and I wanted to go straight home but I was too sick, finally I waited for 45mins and then saw the doctor for only 5mins!! He said I got bronchitis :( That's bad!! Hopefully I'll get well soon!!

NEW FRENCH TEACHER

A new term of French lesson!! I still can't believe I can be promoted to level 6!!! :D A new French teacher again!! This time is a funny cute French teacher ;) He is from Paris and his French accent is easier to understand than the previous one. Très bien!! I don't need to take much time to get used to his accent.

I like the way he teaches us and he requests us to speak more in the class!! It's a good chance to practise! That's why it's so important to have a good teacher!! I have more motivation in learning French now!! :)

HIKING FR TUNG CHUNG TO PO LIN CHI

Hiking from Tung Chung to Po Lin Chi today. It has been a while since we hiked together. The weather was cool and sunny and it was very suitable to go hiking.

I took my Canon 400D and tried to figure out how to use it, but my friends all use Nikon!! I had no idea the fuction keys of my camera and they wondered this camera was mine or not :P But at least this time I know a bit more about my camera. I think I really need to read the user guide or find some Canon users to teach me some techniques.

Then we took the bus back to Tung Chung and we shopped around at the outlet. I bought a pair of hiking boots!! A very reasonable price!! :D Hopefully we can go hiking more coz I don't want to just put my boots on the shelf!!

BONNES RÉSOLUTIONS DE NOUVEL AN

Overall 2007 is quite a good year for me. Of course there were ups and downs but nothing too bad happened. It was a really fast and busy year for me. Got more workloads, learn more stuff, make more friends but got less time to rest.

When I look back, I realise I have changed especially the value and the point of view. Not sure it's a good or not but I just follow what I think it's right and do things with no regret. Though sometimes I try to run away from the knotty problems, I'm going to make things simple and work it out now.

Last year I made 10 new year resolutions but only 3 has fulfilled. This year I'm going to make 10 more again. Let's see how many I can fulfill!! :D

1. Spend more time with family
2. Try to not spend too much on buying something which is not necessary
3. Save more money and move out
4. Travel twice in this year
5. Try to not run away from problems, face it and solve it
6. Never give up
7. Arrange more time to rest and stay healthy
8. Go on doing kickboxing, punch hard, kick hard and keep fit :D
9. Spend more time on studying French
10. Learn something new or master my current skills
