HIKING AT LAMMA

It was a nice sunny day and we went hiking at Lamma Island. I didn't really like hiking in hot summer coz it is too hot and I will definately get tanned so I try to avoid it in summer. But Yiu has asked us for few times so we chose a easy route to hike.

We took the ferry to Yung Shue Wan and then walked to Sok Kwu Wan. It wasn't too far away but we walked slowly, stopped to take pics and eat so it could spend us whole day there.

We walked up to the Lamma Winds, the only one wind power station in Hong Kong. It was my first time to go there. It was a nice power station tho I head it doesn't work anymore.


Then we got some rest and spent some time at the beach (Hung Shing Yeh Wan). A very small beach but not so crowded. I wanted go swimming so much!! It was extemely hot!!

After hiking, we took ferry back to Central and we had dinner at WanChai. We went to the Thai food restaurant that we often go and had some nice food again.

HOTPOT GATHERING

We had another hotpot gathering with secondary school friends. It's always good to gather together and had fun. Me and Connie came out earlier and went shopping. We bought a lot of things!! Crazy shopping!! I bought some clothes and jeans!! :)

Thanks for Mr. Tortoise who suggested such great Hotpot restaurant. The food was very delicious especially the beef and the seafood. The beef was so juicy that you would fall in love with it!! :D What a shame some people couldn't join us.

We went for a drink after dinner, we played dice games and Mr. Tortoise kept losing!! :D Loser LOL I wanted to leave earlier coz the next morning I gotta wake up early but end up I drank with them until 2am. It was a fun night! :)

YAMM

Mirama Hotel is rebuilt and they have a new restaurant "Yamm" which is commented as a stylish nice cuisine. This restaurant is very full and I had to book it a month in advance!! Unbelievable!! Really so many people have dinner buffet everyday?

The interior design is chic and modern and their service was very good!! The most important thing is the food!! It was soooooo delicious!! Their seafood was surprising good!! The oysters and sashimi were so fresh!! I more enjoyed the cold food coz they had more choices. For the hot food and dessert, they were good but there weren't many choices.

I enjoyed the environment and the food there and it is the one of the best buffet I ever had. I will definately go there again!!

1st TRY WITH MY NEW LENS

What a nice sunny day!! I couldn't wait to use my new lens!! I was going to join the party at Milk's home in the evening so I could go to Stanley to take some pics before going to her home.

The sky was so blue and clear, it was suitable to take some nice landscape pics especially with my wide angle lens!! :) Stanley is really beautiful and it's one of my favourite place in Hong Kong. I didn't have time to take pics, I just took a few and then rush to Milk's home.




Milk's baby is 8months old now!! Wow!! She looks like a boy but she is very cute!! But she didn't like when we held her on our arms! hehe I usually think it's fun to play with someone's baby!!

HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY

We have planned to watch Hellboy 2 today so I bought a VCD to watch the 1st one last night. I prefer knowing the background before watching the sequels.

I think the 2nd one was better than the 1st one, with better visual effects and the action scenes were great. It was very entertaining too!! I enjoyed a lot and I wonder if there will be the 3rd one in the future.

NEW LENS

I bought a new lens finally!! This wide angle lens is suitable for me to take landscape pics and I can't wait for trying it!! Tho it's bit expensive for me, it is worth! I wanna buy another lens for taking portrait and Schindler suggested me to buy a cheaper one (I wanna buy the one he got but his lens is for professional use I think, too expenisve!). Gotta save up some money... mom said I kept wasting money on buying this kinda stuff :P Well I can't help :D

THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR

I was expecting this film to be more adventure, I liked the 1st and 2nd one very much and I thought this one would be good but I'm a bit disappointed after watching it.

The acting was ok, what a shame that they had to use another actress to replace Rachel Weisz. I liked her performance for the previous film. The visual effects were quite good but the storyline was a bit stupid and lame. It wasn't that bad but was just an average movie that you watch for fun.

DIANA WORLD TOUR OPENING PARTY

It's Diana World Tour Opening Party!! Though I don't have a Diana Camera, it was fun to go for the party. There were hundreds of Diana cameas which was produced from 60's to 70's. When I look at those cameras, it made me want to own one!! But I don't think I will buy the Diana one now, at least I have to wait until I got the lens for my Canon 400D.


After the party, we went to Sense 99 Club. It was pretty crowded when we arrived there. There were live band show but I dunno who they are :D I stayed there until around 12am and then I went to TST to have drinks with my colleagues. We drank until 4am and then went home coz most of us were drunk :D
