TIRING FRIDAY

Dinner at Fung Yeun Korean Restaurant. It's a very local Korean Restaurant, the beef was so delicious. But overall I like Golden Sorabol Korean Restaurant more becoz the envoirment is better. After dinner we wanted to play bowling but the bowling alleys in Whampoa and Olympian City were full. We then went for Karaoke again. I was too tired and I almost fell asleep at karaoke :P I planned to join my other group of friends to have a drink but it was better to head to home and have a long sleep! ;)

EXHAUSTED

Playing squash after work. I'm exhausted. I have been so busy at work and it tires me out. It seems like I can never finish my work. It's good that the manager appreciates my performance but on the other hand if she doesn't like to trust others, it will be a burden for me!! Hopefully I will get my rewards at the end of the year ;)

The monitor hasn't worked for few days. Finally bought a Philips 15 inches monitor. Many friends suggested me to buy a 19 inches monitor coz it's cheap and big LOL I don't think I need such a big monitor coz I don't watch movie or play computer games on PC. 17 inches monitor is ok but what a pity that my computer desk only have enough space for 15 inches monitor!! I had no choice...

THE LAKE HOUSE

Watching The Lake House today. A very sweet and sincere love story. It was touching! I am not a romantic movie kind of person but I really like it! Keanu Reeves is very suitable to star this kind of movie. His last romance movie that I watched was Sweet November and he acted so well too. Thumbs up!!

BOAT TRIP 2

++ Heading to Gwai Po Wan ++

Went for boat trip at Gwai Po Wan again! We planned to go to Long Kei but it was too windy so we went to Gwai Po Wan instead. The weather was cool and bad today. It was cloudy and shower sometimes. I didn't swim coz it was too cold. I only played with the dogs at the beach.

Afternoon we went to Salt Farm to have a walk. It's my first time to go hiking with beach slippers! LOL

ALLIANCE FRANCAISE

I have been busy at work but finally I decide to learn french. I went to Alliance Francaise and apply the beginner course. The 8pm class is full so I had no choice to apply the 6.30pm class. I didn't expect it would be full! How come so many people learn French? Although it's the most popular European language in Hong Kong, comparing with English and Japanese course, the classes shouldn't be so full. Hopefully I can attend the class on time!

FACE CHANGING

Emotional intelligence is a person's ability to understand their own emotions and to act appropriately using these emotions. What the hack is that some people can't control their emotions? Their tempers are more changeable than the weather!! May be they should join the Sichuan opera to perform their "face changing" (mask switching)!! I bet they can be the best of mask switching!!

EARTHQUAKE

An earthquake shaked Hong Kong! It has ony lasted for few seconds but I could feel the shake. It wasn't a serious earthquake, only 3.5 on the Richter scale and nothing got destroyed. Hong Kong isn't in the quake zone but in my life it happened twice. The last earthquake was me still a student, I was in the classroom and I thought my classmate who sat next to me shaking my chair LOL Seems everything is possible now so when would Hong Kong snow? :P

LOMO OFFICE

Took my L-CA to repair after work and I had to rush to there before Lomo office is closed. I'm not good at reading map! How come I lost my way even I had a map in hand? :P No it's not my fault, it's too far away and I'm not familiar with the streets in Sheungwan! Also the map isn't clear enough LOL Oh it needs 4 weeks to check and repair the L-CA, hopefully it can be fixed. Shutter stuck isn't a big problem, is it?

BB + MIKI + KABU'S BD

++ birthday cake for doggies, look so nice ++
Joined BB + Miki + Kabu's birthday party at Hong Kong Dog Park. I haven't seen BB and Miki for a long time! It's my first time to see Kabu and it's not as big as I thought. English and American cocker Spaniels are so different! I wish I could have a dog but I know I can never be a good master. It's ok for me to play with dogs but I don't like to clean up shit LOL

RAINY DAY BUT NEED TO GO OUT

I was waken up in the early morning and then rush to Sheraton to take my Korean colleagues to shop around comestic goods and take a look at Tsim Sha Tsui. It was cloudy when I went out but then when I arrived TST it rained cats and dogs! I didn't bring umbrella and I had to buy one. I really wanted to go back home but I couldn't.
-
There was nothing good to visit, we just shopped around Mirama shopping mall and Harbour city. Quite uninteresting for me coz only window shopping. Dinner at Kyozaka, they wanted to try traditional food so it's the best choice. I like the menu on the wall and it's so Japanese styled.

SENSHURAKU + DOUGHNUT

Dinner at Senshuraku Japanese dining. The environment was good and I like this salmon sea urchin sushi. The other food like barbecued beef and fried rice were quite good. But the service was bad. So far Mr.Picky hasn't complained much and seem he was quite appreciated. We all felt relieved LOL

After dinner we had doughnut at Krispy Kreme, I know this doughnut store is quite popular in overseas, it has just opened in Hong Kong and I'm surprised so many people like doughuts. Anyway I guess it's just a only a passing fad. I tried the original glazd and it was quite good. If it wasn't so sweet, I think I would like it more.

HONG KONG MEN

I heard many Japanese and Korean women said Hong Kong men are very decent and nice that like gentlemen. I don't really agree until I have known more Japanese and Korean people. Male chauvinism is normal in Japanese and Korean society. Women have to please and serve men. I was surprised to know Japanese and Korean women are impressed by Hong Kong men for doing little things like opening the door, pouring tea, cooking food... I don't mean men should do that but I don't think it's so special for men to do that unless he is doing from his heart. Different culture makes things difference. I understand why someone can find a Japanese girlfriend easily lol

GOODBYE / airsupply

2 Korean colleagues has come to our office from Korea today. They don't really look like Korean. They look more like Japanese and Chinese. I don't contact with these 2 Korean colleagues much and I didn't expect to have dinner with them at night. I was so tried and I wanted to go home as quick as I can. We had dinner at JIN LUO BAO, it's quite boring to talk about business at dinner and I was a bit fed up with it.

After dinner we went to Korean karaoke box, it was quite entertaining but there were no new Cantonese/Mandarin songs. I found an English old songs "Goodbye" which sang by Air supply and I like it! I heard it long time before but this song didn't impress me. But now I think it's good.

you would never ask me why
my heart is so disguised
i just can't live a lie anymore
i would rather hurt myself
than to ever make you cry
there's nothing left to say but good-bye

SHING MUN RESERVOIR

Hiking at Shing Mun Reservoir today. I haven't hiked for a long time! It's good to choose this place, so easy to hike! But the weather wasn't good, it was cloudy, humid and hot. I didn't know there are moneys and those moneys are so clever! They can recognise plastic bags and they know people bring food with plastic bags. They rob people's food! That's scary.

After hiking, we cooked food coz my friends took the cookset and it was really fun to cook simple food like noodles and fish balls. The food was simple but delicious coz after few hours hiking, we all were so hungry. We suggested to cook rice and chicken wings and cured sausages next time!

KATIGA

After a long tiring working day, I had dinner with colleagues at Katiga. I haven't been there for a long time. There is not as popular as before. Suprisingly the restaurant wasn't full during dinner time. We ordered crab congee, Sushi set, garlic beef and fried chicken softbone. I like crab congee but the suishi wasn't really fresh. I understand why not many people eat there now. I bet Leon Lai haven't been there for a long time lol
