I WANNA TRAVEL NO MATTER WHAT!!

Have been thinking to go travel at the end of September but becoz of some reasons, I can't travel to somewhere I want. I have few ideal destinations but gotta change now. It's kinda frustrating but life is like that. Really don't want to be stuck in Hong Kong!! No matter what I will get away for at least few days!!

The Hong Kong dollar has lost value and it has been decreased in value against Euro, Pounds, Canadian dollars and Australia dollars! One of the reason that I have to change my destination is the weakness of Hong Kong dollar!! May be Hong Kong dollar shouldn't peg to US dollar?

YAY FOR LIVERPOOL FC

LIVERPOOL FC came to Hong Kong again!! Yay!! But I didn't know until I saw them on TV!! And it's too late for me to get the ticket! Oh I'm kinda slow in football news now!! Too bad!! Really need to catch up on football news and games. Fuham and Portsmouth are also in Hong Kong and they are going to play games with South China. Definately Liverpool will win!

Remember 4 years ago when LIVERPOOL FC came to Hong Kong, I could have chance to watch the game and Michael Owen was here!! I really don't like him playing in Newscatle now tho he said he was happy to play in Newcastle. Is it true? I know there is no chance for him to go back to Anfield...

But it's good that LIVERPOOL is expanding!! They signed the Spanish petty boy Fernando Torres and Dutch kid Ryan Babel. Hopefully LIVERPOOL will win the English Permiership! :D

1ST PIANO LESSON SINCE 8 YEARS AGO!!

I have been thinking to start learning piano again but due to many reasons, I didn't really mean to start it. I was worried that I may be only keen to learn for a short while and also the main reason is I never have enough time to practise. My schedule is very tight and I need something to motivate me.

I hardly remember when was my last piano lesson, probably 8 or 9 years ago. I wonder if I paid more efforts, I could be a piano teacher now. God knows?! Well I'm not learning for being a teacher, I'm learning for interest only. I had my 1st lesson today and this teacher is very strict. He can point out my problem without looking my fingers!! Oopps! I didn't know my fingering is so wrong!! Kinda frustrated and I regret I have wasted lots of time before... Hopefully it's not too late to start again!! I still have a year and a half!!

BBQ @ TAI LAM

One of the hottest summer!! 34 degrees!! So hot!! But can you believe what was our activties? BBQ?!! I was reluctant to go barbecue, I just wanted to stay inside a cool place. It's kinda silly to go barbecue in such hot weather. But we didn't have other suggestions and it wasn't good to cancel the gathering so we still went there.

The barbecue place is near by the beach so we could go for the beach to cool down our feet. I wanted to go swimming so much!! There are not many things to do except walking on the beach, barbecue and playing mahjong. But anyway we still had good time tho it's hot!! Hopefully it sweated off some of my weight :D

LOST

Many people told me LOST is very interesting but I could't manage time to watch it. Also a plane crash story with the surviving passengers in a deserted island doesn't seem so entertaining for me. Finally I started to watch since last week, the story was out of my expectation, it's very mysterious and interesting!! I'm so curious about each characters' behind stories and I want to know how they can get out of the island. Really want to recommend all of you to watch it!! I have been so busy to watch these days and I'm on Season 2 now. It's really tiring to chase the drama!! The problem is once I have started, I barely stop!! :P I don't even want to do anything but watch it!!

AL DENTE

A colleague recommended me a fine Italian restaurant so we went there tonight. AL Dente is a small restaurant but homely and the food was good!! It tastes more like Italian style. We ordered Caesar salad, pasta, Italian Pizza and Mixed berry Crumble . I like the Focaccia and the Italian Pizza!! The Pizza is crispy, it is made with salami sauage and cheese, perfect match!! The dessert was a bit sweet but tasty!! I was surprised that the bill wasn't expensive!! Will definately go there again!!

KICK & PUNCH!!

I had a trial kickboxing lesson tonight. I learned some basic steps, some techniques of punch & kick and as I expected, it really tired me out!! I can imagine I will definately have muscle aching tomorrow!! But I will keep doing once a week as the temptation of burning more energy and calories!! Also it's a good way to vent your anger!! Overall it is fun and enjoyable tho I am worn out :D

FAIRE LA BISE

My level 1 French teacher is going to leave Hong Kong, I met her again today finally!! I haven't seen her since I finished level 1. She is going back to France to take a break and she may be or may not come back to Hong Kong. It depends... The pollution here is one of the reason!! Oh well I want to go to France, really want her to take me there LOL

French culture is very interesting, I know French people exchange kisses on alternating cheeks upon meeting and separating and somehow I have done it first time :D Faire la bise! But it's confusing coz they have two kisses, three kisses and four kisses!! I think it's easy to mess it up!! :D

TIVOLI ITALIAN RESTAURANT

Suddenly wanna have dinner buffet but most of the dinner buffet in hotels were full!! Marriott, Shangri-la, Grand Hyatt... How come? I was very surprised!! Someone said Tivoli Italian Restaurant was good, we had no choice so we had a try there.

It was quite disappointing! The decoration and environment were nice but the food wasn't as good as I expected. The service was fair and I didn't like the tableware. We had Seafood Risotto, Sicilian Spaghetti with prawns and Pizza with Salami and house wine. I think the pizza was good but the risotto and spaghetti were more like "high class tea restaurant food". Not really SO BAD but I wouldn't go there again if I wanna eat Italian food.

SUMMER HOTPOT

Waited for my friends at McDonald and I found that eating Happy meal comes with a Toy from Shrek animation. I wanted a Pinocchio so I had no choice to buy a Happy Meal. Really don't like junk food... I was surprised that the combo sets are so expensive!! I remember when I was teen, we ate at McDonald for saving money but nowadays it's kinda "LUXURY" to eat at McDonald. Time changes! McDonald reallys know how to SQUEEZE our money LOL

We were going to had hotpot at a colleague's home so we had to buy food at market. Actually we all had no idea how to choose vegetables, fishes and seafood!! Also we had to wash the food and cut it into pieces. It's kinda disgusting to wash the squids and cut their head... I don't like the feeling... I suddenly realise mom is wonderful!! She goes to market everyday and cook for us!! Thanks god!! I don't want to be a housewife yet LOL It's too tiring!!

We bought a lot of food and we couldn't eat them all. Someone has to eat them all today LOL I think next time it's better to eat out :D
