WARAWARA + LKF

I was planning to leave office at 7pm, but becoz of my colleague, I had to leave at 8.30pm :( I reminded her not to piling up her work until last miniute but she is still like that. Finally I had to help her!! Why should I do this?

After work I had dinner with friends at Warawara at MK. I usually don't know where to eat at MK so Warawara is quite a good choice. "Someone" came out with his "potential girlfriend" and I was quite surprised she was a sweet cute girl!! Before seeing her, this guy told me his potential girlfriend was only "ok" and "a bit fat". What? He is too picky!! She is slim and not just ok!!

We wanted to go to Soho to have a drink at a Jazz music lounge but it was full! So we went to LKF to have some drinks at Insomnia. The atmosphere was good tonight and people got hyper!! :D Finally my friend took his first move and this "potential girlfriend" became his "official girlfriend" :D Congrats!!

SWISH CLUB 5TH ANNIVERSARY

It's Swish Club 5th Anniversary and they had a party for celebration. There were afternoon tea, thai boxing games, Ram Muay and luck draws. As a boss, Anthony didn't play the game, he spoke on the stage to express his feeling. But no one really concentrated on listening to him... poor crying baby... hahaha

The competitors are the students of Swish Club, it was quite interesting. It would be better if the trainers fought themselves :D The most funny thing was Siu Lung imitated Bruce Lee!! He didn't really look like Bruce Lee, he is too short :D

PARTY AT JOSE'S HOME

Jose has moved to a new flat for a while and she hosted a housewarming party today. We arrived her home at around 1pm and she prepared a lot of Korean food for us!!

What I liked most was the Korean seafood soup, it was so delicious!! It was Jose's first time to make and she followed the recipe which downloaded from the internet. I wanted to learn how to make but the recipe is in Korean and some ingredients of the sauce is hard to get in Hong Kong...

Jose's new flat is very neat and comfortable. The interior design is very practical. It's big enough for her and her husband to live!!

POT LUCK DINNER

Another Pot Luck dinner tonight!! Last time I didn't cook anything so this time I made some soy sauce beef shanks and chicken kidneys. I wanted to make fruit salad but too many people were going to bring salad so I had to cook something else. Actually I didn't need to prepare much coz mom helped me. I admit I'm really too lazy to cook!!

This Pot Luck dinner wasn't as crowded as before coz they couldn't send the messages to remind people to come. Satoko made some Japanese style omelette and pasta, they were good!! I haven't joined their events for few months, so far it was quite fun and I ate a lot of different kinda food!! :D

BBQ AT WHITEHEAD CLUB

Going to Whitehead Club for barbecue with my colleagues this afternoon. It was my first time to go there and it was pretty far away. We met at Shatin New Town Plaza and then took a shuttle bus to Whitehead. I haven't been to Shatin for a long time and it has changed a lot!! Obviously I'm a "city girl" and I rarely to go to "country side" :D


The weather wasn't so good, it was cloudy and a bit windy. I don't like to get tanned but I still prefer sun and blue sky. There is a golf club in Whitehead Club and also you can go cycling or fishing. I wanted to fish but we didn't have baits.

There were quite a lot of choices for the food, so far the seafood was good but the chicken wings and ribs were only ok. The only reason that I choose buffet BBQ is we don't need to buy things from the supermarket and carry to the BBQ site. This is the only advantage, other than that I still prefer to buy things by myself.

Anyway it was quite fun and what a shame that some of the colleagues couldn't manage to join us. I think the next BBQ event will be arranged after summer.

LA PÉRICHOLE

Watching the French opera "La Périchole"with my classmate tonight. It's one of the event of Le French May and we wanna get in touch with French culture and stuff more.

It was a very good show, the music was great and the dancing was bravo!! We enjoyed very much but we hardly understood coz it was a French opera!! I could only understand some simple words... kinda frustrating... There were English and Chinese subtitles but they weren't clear enough and the subtitles were too fast or too slow sometimes so we couldn't catch them up.

Tho we couldn't understand, we all enjoyed and liked it!! It's worth to see!!

KICKBOXING! I'M BACK!!

I've stopped doing kickboxing for 3 months coz I have been so busy at work and also I'm kinda reluctant to do exercises during winter. Finally I restarted today!! It was good to kick and punch and vent my anger again but I was extremely tired and I got aching muscles afterwards. I need to improve my fitness and hopefully I can manage to do it twice a week!! I start to regret that I have stopped for such long time!!

SEKI'S BD

Celebrating Seki's birthday today! We had dinner at Pizza hut first and then went to LKF to have some drinks. Kyoko forgot to bring the birthday present and she gave seki a rotting banana instead :D Seki didn't eat at all!!

It's the first time that Kyoto went to LKF!! I was surprised!! Isn't it a must-go place in Hong Kong? :D We had a drink at Insomnia first and then went to a music lounge in Soho. This music lounge has live jazz band on show everynight and it was really great!! The music lounge was small but it was cozy. I checked on their website when I came home, what a shame that I missed some interesting events!! But anyway I have a new place to chill out :D

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGES

We planned to do kickboxing tonight but the class was full so we watched film instead. It was a really entertaining romantic comedy. The story was a bit silly but cute and funny. Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz played very well and it was full of laugh out loud funny moments. I liked it!! :D

After watching film, we went to Tsing Kei Chuen Korean Restaurant to have a late dinner. We ordered a cold noodle and a kimchi pot, the food was good!! The portion was quite big and we hardly finished them all. I was sooo full!!

CELEBRATING FC'S BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to FC! We celebrated her birthday tonight at Yau Gwat Hei. She hasn't had hotpot at all in winter so she in this warm night we had a crazy hotpot night!! We ordered a lot of food especially beef!! PY was late becoz of the work but it didn't bother us :P We just ate without waiting for her!!

We gave a little boy model of table lamb for FC as a birthday present. The most funny part is the switch is down there :D We asked FC not to play the switch on and off LOL

After dinner, we went for window shopping since we were too full and we need to have a walk. I got stomach and I think I ate too much :(

HORS DE PRIX

My friend lent me "Hors de prix" coz I want to watch French film to help to improve my French. Of course I can't understand what they are talking about if there are not substitles but it's a good listen training for me.

This film is very cute and interesting with lightheart fun. Thought it's predictable, it's really enjoyable.

THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL

"The Other Boleyn Girl" is based on the story of the Royal family in England. I had no idea who Boleyn were before watching this film :P I guess it wasn't historically accurate but it was a good story. Natalie played so well and I enjoyed the film a lot. I heard that the book was more interesting and maybe I should read the book too!!
