Obviously the terrorists have never thought to give up taking revenge on United States and United Kingdom. They have plotted the bomb attack when everybody is not so alert. It is amazed that those suicide bombers love their race more than their lives. They planned to carry out the atrocities and give a wake up call to the world of tragedy 9/11 but nothing they can win for doing this.
The airport security measures becomes very stringent, no hand luggage, no liquids, no electrical equipment (including iPod, cameras and mobiles!). What else can we bring? It can only reduce the possibility of the jet attack, how about train, ferry or bus attacks?
May be United States should reconsider about their "Democracy" but not just declare "War on Terrorism".

This was going to be terror on a huge scale but fortuately the secret services found out about it in time. Much credit has to go to Pakistan for alerting us.
Most of the terrorists were British born which really raises some questions don't you think? How can they live amongst us their entire lives and still despise our way of life so much that they want to destroy us?
So much blame is being aimed towards the Blair/Bush alliance and their war on terrorism. But this was a reaction to existing terrorism and I don't see how they can be blamed. They couldn't just stand aside and let terror reign in other parts of the world just because we were safe here. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
War is never good, but it is the lesser of two evils when fighting against terrorism.
Yes, it is borring without laptop to sit long hours. I tried wireless internet connection in airplane and it was nice. I could browse news, see weather and send e-cards. All that in airplane.
I always bring much food - this time broguth 2 big bags hand luggadge of yogurts, fruits, vegetables, cakes, sausages, meat etc. I ate that all for over one month.
