Why Owen was taken out again? :'( Darn!! Eriksson is so indecisive!! He is not deserved to be England Manager!! I don't think it's a right decision to substitute Michael and Joe Cole. It's ok to let Rooney playing for a while but not Crouch!! He should be the one who was replaced!! I wasn't happy to see Crouch scoring. He was only lucky!! What did he do? He did nothing and he is not contributive!! I only cheered for Steven Gerrard and he got a stunning score. I'm happy that England can definately go to round of 16 but can Owen play if Rooney has fully recovered? :(

I could sense your disappointment when Owen went off and I felt the same way. I have the same feeling that you have, Rooney and Crouch to start the next game. :-( That isn't what is best for the team. Crouch didn't play terribly, but as a freakishly tall player he encourages the England midfield to play long hopeful balls in the air to him and that isn't playing to the strengths of the team. Crouch is a player to bring on late in a game if things aren't going well. Definitely not a first eleven starter.
If I was the England manager, and let's be honest I really should be, the two changes I would make for the next game are Rooney for Crouch and Lennon for Lampard. I would then play Lennon wide right and push Beckham into the middle with Gerrard. Lampard can go to German beer festivals for the rest of the tournament for all I care. He is out of form and missed the easy chance that Owen set up for him along with three other good opportunities in the second half.
Anyway, don't feel too disappointed. England will play better against stronger opposition and Owen will have his chance to shine soon. :-)
Did you stay awake all night to see the game ? Japan and T&T are my favorite teams in this world cup. Because Tabago island of T&T was our former colony. Kahn have not played, so I am not supporting German team.

I only stay up all night to watch the games of England. I also want to watch games for Italy and Spain but I won't stay up for too late coz I have to work on the following day.
I didn't know T&T was your former colony and I have never heard this country before. Japan is quite good on defence but seems it's not easy for them to go to round of 16.
